Bio
Dr. Anthony Wong, M.D., M.S. completed his undergraduate education at the University of Southern California, where he pursued a double major and graduated with honors, Cum Laude. Drawn to the intersection of medicine, science, and global health systems, he returned to USC to earn his Master of Science in Global Medicine, graduating with distinction, while concurrently enrolling in coursework at the USC Marshall School of Business.
He attended Rush Medical College in Chicago, where he graduated in the top percentile of his class and was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha — the nation’s most prestigious medical honor society, reserved for the top students in each graduating class. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the historic Cook County Hospital, one of the highest volume clinical training programs in the United States.
Dr. Wong was subsequently selected for one of the most competitive oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowships in the nation, training directly under three influential figures in the field — Dr. Raymond Douglas, Dr. Guy Massry, and Dr. Joseph Lin. He was among fewer than forty surgeons chosen annually for an ASOPRS-approved fellowship, a credential representing the pinnacle of subspecialty training in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Wong has since been nominated for various awards including recent participation in the Cedars-Sinai ASPENS Leadership Development Program.
His clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgery, including cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery, upper and lower blepharoplasty, ptosis repair, brow lifting, ectropion and entropion repair, lacrimal (tear drainage) surgery, thyroid eye disease (Graves’ disease/TED), orbital and eyelid tumor management, facial trauma and fracture reconstruction, Mohs reconstructive surgery, pediatric oculoplastic conditions, socket reconstruction, and enucleation and evisceration. He is committed to delivering outcomes that are anatomically precise, evidence-based, and aesthetically refined. Dr. Wong is a candidate member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
